Bravada transfer case control module

Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone knows what the difference is between the green connector and the orange connector. I know they are different but i don't know why and it's driving me crazy.

Different color plug in"s are usually different wiring?
Year make and engine and transfer case and mileage?

Are you asking about the module plugins?

Any problems or why are you looking at it.

Re: Bravada transfer case control module

OK the reason i ask is that i have a bad control module in my 2000 bravada so i'm looking for a new one and most of the salvage yards ive gone to have the orange connector. it doesn't seem to matter if its a later or earlier model. I have a chevy astro parts vehicle but that has an orange connector even though it has the same engine, trans, and transfer case so i'm wondering why? the connectors don't interchange because the tabs that slide into the module are in different spots

Match it up by parts no.

Different part no = different modules.

Replace it with your old part no.

Astro and Bravada to start with.

They have different control modules and different wiring.

Take a look at the wiring diagrams for them.

They made the plugins different so DIY's could not plugin the wrong one and burn everything up.
