3.1L to 3.8L swap?

Hey I was wondering if it was possible to swap a 3.1L from a 2004 Buick Century for a 3.8L from a Regal. I have noticed that the Regal and the Century share a great deal of design in its platform and was just curious if the 3.8L would easily fit into the century. I have also noticed that the engine bay of the late model century is very large even with the 3.1L inside so I don't think space is an issue. I'm just curious if the mounts are in the same spot and etc sort of like the Chrysler/Dodge 98-04 Intrepid/Concorde with the 2.7/3.2/3.5. Please feel free to comment about your opinions and ideas or even if you know for sure it would work or have done it let me know what you did. I really like this car and would like to keep it for a long time and would like to know what kind of performance options I have with it. Thanks for your time.
