Question '92 4.3l power problem

I know this has porabably been answered several times but here goes. I have '92 1500 with 4.3l V6. When it is cold it will not run at idle. When I try to drive it stalls out if I am not in high revs, even then if it is cold it spits and sputters. As it warms up it does get better. I have replaced fuel filter, spark plugs and wires. I have not tested fuel pressure, injectors are shooting at a good stream and do not apear clogged. I have been told many different things that it could be. EGR valve, fuel pump, catalytic converter. I just wanted to get other thoughts on this matter. If it was fuel pump, would it seem to get better as the engine warms up?
