Hi,
I have an avalon 2001 that headlight lights up when it's dark (auto mode). Today I had my car alarm installed at a shop. When my car headlight is in auto mode the car alarm doesn't make the parking light or headlight flash; The model is AutoPage RF-320. Is it my car or the guy who did this didn't know how to do it ? Thanks |

Re: Alarm Headlight and Parking light do not flash
Probably a late post, but if you bought the alarm from the installer, I would expect they know how to install it correctly and not interfere with any of the car's functions.
That being said, I'm going to guess that the light sensor is overriding any activiation of the head/parking lights. The installer should go back in and fix it so that it functions properly. Sometimes a powered relay has to be added to the alarm wiring to allow it to flash the lights. The installer should know better. Good luck!
