Thank you - I wish the video had been an hour long and not just 10 minutes. I'd love to visit the collection sometime myself as I'd enjoy nearly every car they have.

If that is what they are telling people, then that isn't correct. The silver F1 in the museum is chassis #047, and had not been built yet at the time of Bernd Pischetstrieder's accident. It's believed that the car he wrecked was instead chassis #010.

The engine in the museum is from the car he crashed

Re: The McLaren F1s of BMW Mobile Tradition / BMW Group Classic in 1080p HD

Many thanks for the video. I think you guys are the ones that posted the videos of the Koenigsegg (one of my favorite cars) so thanks for that as well.

How can one go about getting a tour of the facility? Obviously it's not open to everyone or else it would be a lot more crowded like the Porsche and MB museums (unless it's hidden and hard for people to find, lol).

I know the Fina GTR short tails are at the top for F1s for me, but the proportions of the longtail in that video did it...now easily my favorite F1.

Edit: Hard to see what F1 cars they had. Obviously one of the BMW Sauber cars, but I'm almost certain the FW26a was in there (walrus tusk car). Pretty easy to tell from the side by the front nose.
