Misfire-multiple cylinders

My 96 w/ 2.5 V6 has 190K miles. Plugs, wires, cap are new, but I'm getting SE light w/ "multiple cylinder misfire" code. Could my distributor be shot? Misfiring is not noticeable...for now.

Re: Misfire-multiple cylinders

Do a fuel pressure test, and a back pressure test on both catalytic converters.

Question Re: Misfire-multiple cylinders

Thanks, but why would those indicate something that could affect firing?
