Motor Mounts

I want to replace the stock ( NAPA ) motor mounts with a polyurethane type of
mount, does anybody have a part or model # for that?
Not exactly sure what the stock ones are from, 67 - 68 Mustang ?
The car is a GT-RA, chassis #32

thanks,

Bob

Bob - what I used for my 4.6L (GT-WC):
American.Muscle.com
Part # 94328
Mustang Urethane Motor Mounts, 4.6L (96-04)

Not sure if that helps, but may provide a starting point for you.

Re: Motor Mounts

GTRA's used two different styles of motor mount. Post a pic of yours. One is from a 87-93 Mustang 5.0. The other is from early model <67 Mustang.

Re: Motor Mounts

The Texas GTRA's (Explorer 5.0) used the Explorer mounts: Ford :F4ZZ-6038-C / -D. Not sure of the difference, but they have a different part number.

Thanks guys,

I should have mentioned it's a 5.0l Aussie engine, but one would think the
mounts would be the same as the Exploder.

Re: Motor Mounts

Mine has the Aussie 5.0 and Fox body mounts. Post up a pic and that should clear it up.

We tried 87-93 Mustang mounts but they do not work, I will be at the
shop tomorrow night and post some pictures of these pesky things ☺

The pictures they show of Explorer motor mounts do not match the
ones we have.

I will also get the NAPA part # from the ones that we replaced.

Thanks,

Thanks for all the info,

I have no problem getting " stock " mounts, but wanted to replace them
with the polyurethane type, it doesn't look like anybody makes them.
The next time the engine is out :-/ we will fabricate a new platform for the frame mounts and use the one's from a 87-93 Mustang .
