94 caprice wont start when engines warm...

i have a 94 caprice 4.3L, the car idles very rough, funny popping noise from front of the motor when giving it gas too fast, at operating temperature the engine dies and wont start until it cools off a little. Before any assumtions are made since this problem i've replaced: fuel pump (twice), strainer, fuel sending unit, fuel press. regulator, ignition coil, ign. control module, map sensor, iac valve, all injectors, fuel filter and throttle postion sensor. Prior to that (approx. 8 mos. ago) i replaced opti (twice), oil pump,plugs &wires, alt. and starter, temp. switch, coolant temp. sensor and alot of other odds and ends. Now it's in the shop & they think it's either my distibutor or computer. however they said the computer looks good. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

you have replaced alot of parts...did you do testing first , or just throw parts at it ? iF YOU DID TESTING provide the forum these results.

with the engine running this poorly what DTC engine codes did you pull from this vehicle..?


are you doing these repairs or is it the guessing repair shop doing all this at your expense ?

now I'm guessing what this is !


under the hood near the passengerside firewall area is the fuse box ...there is a big wire going to it make sure that wire is clean and not heat damaged in any way..
