loud knocking plz need some help!!!!

got 99 k1500 and theres a loud knocking high up on engine but dont know what it is hoping it not as bad as i think. can anyone help

ok little more info when the truck is running and i give it gas from on throttle at the intake and i can feel the knocking through the top and it get louder when i give it gas but the knocking isn't at the same rpm as the rev. oh and you can hear it better on the driver side. so any help would be good. thanks!

Have you thought it may be some lifters sticking and making the clattering??

no but i will check. let you know what i see when i take the valve cover off.
