Hello Im looking for someone with a 2006 Chevy Uplander LX. I'm going to test drive one tomorrow and I want the opinion of a person who has one. Do you like it? Does it cause you grief? Do you regret it? etc etc etc..... Any opinion would be nice and appreciated.
Thanks |

Re: 2006 Chevy Uplander LX
I have a 2005 LT which I had purchased new. I haven't posted much about it for the past 5 years because it really hasn't caused me any grief. It now has about 105,000 miles, and other than the surging alternator problem when new and a bad rear control arm bushing at year 1 (both fixed under warranty), I do not recall having a single problem with the car. Other than paying for tires, brake pads, oil, filters, a new battery and wiper blades (all of which I do myself except tires), I don't recall spending a single dime on any repairs or repair parts. It's been a fantastic vehicle and if they still made them, I'd buy another to replace it instead of the 2010 Equinox I'm looking at.

Re: 2006 Chevy Uplander LX
have seen leaking/seeping axle seals but other than that pretty trouble free so far.
