Question Where is it ????

I have a 1996 convertible camaro 6 speed STD 5.7 I was wondering where is the trans dip stick

Manual trannies are sealed and don't have a dip stick, at least on every std trans. Car that I've owned. Advantage to this is that a tranny fluid change runs around 40 buck compared to 80 or 90 dlls on an automatic.

Take it to a shop that does tranny flushes, but on your car its fairly inexpensive because they don't unscrew the pan off, again, its sealed so what they do its syphon the old oil out and the replace it with synthetic because that is what you need. Or you can do it yourself if you can get your ride high enough for you to get to the side of it to drain it. Just call you dealership for the capacity on your trans. Good luck
