power windows dont work

the windows only operate with driver switch none of the other switches will work this happend all of a sudden i already checked fuses but they are fine so i was wondering if anybody knows what would cause this and where to start looking and if you have to get technical could you explain

no one even has an idea where i could start looking? and i also found out if you press the switch for the window while rolling it down on the drivers side it will stop then if you release it it will keep going

The bottom of the drivers’ side main switch provides the power to all the other switches. So if the windows all work from the drivers switch then it is going to be that lockout switch or the wire. On the drivers switch check to see if pin S has 12V on it. (you have to have the key turned on) If it does, you have a broken wire. The book shows the wire as DK BLU going from pin S to pin F of all other switches. The central connection point is S355 which is located in the wiring harness near the battery. Normally the broken wire will be in the drivers’ door hinge point area. This by the way really sucks to work on since there is so little room.

i have had trouble with power windows with mine and when i remove that black flexable cover for the wires at the drivers door hinge i have found a few broken wires once i reconnected them i now have mirror heaters and speakers in the door also working....many wires there ,very suprising...news

thanks. are the wires usally broken closer to the door or the frame i havent got a chance to look at it yet so i when i do it i wont have to spend a bunch of time looking for it

well i took a look at and found the blue wire was broken right in the middle looked for any other broken wires didnt find any so it should be good now
