Re: Bolt-on Fender Flares

No, but i want them.
that is a NICELY Prep'd GTS (it is a GTS, isn't it?)... the fenders, the fuel inlet, the splitter, the cold air intake, rear diffuser... NICE.

That is not a GTS. I think Jimmy Mac took some photos of that car when he went to PAD last year. Maybe he will chim in and give some more insight.

Re: Bolt-on Fender Flares

Look at how the body panels attach. Look at the hood latches. Look at how the trunk attaches. That is a GTS.

It looks like a GTS with plastic rockers instead of glass too. Maybe that's why they stuck with glass for that part.

I like the idea of the cable system for the rear spoiler!

Re: Bolt-on Fender Flares

As best I can determine it is a GTS car that was in the Dutch Supercar series and was done by a company called PRC in Austria.

I want them but I don't speak Austrian. How 'bout another shrimp in the bar-b!!!!

David, for the same reason you didn't think it was a GTS is why I want those flares. They take some of the ugly out of the car and look tuff. I think the reason why I like the look of the GTLM more is because of the flares. Plus, with a wheel investment you are getting even wider.

Re: Bolt-on Fender Flares

carbon fibre splitter is not too ugly on the Advan car either.

Brian, I have priced the air jacks and the fuel delivery inlet - actually not that bad.

Re: Bolt-on Fender Flares

Jim,

The easiest way for you to get ugly out of your car is for you to get out of it. Sorry I couldn't help myself.

Pomroy, tell me again who passed you at Roebling with out you lifting.

Re: Bolt-on Fender Flares

OK, I think I can clear most of this up:

"I want them but I don't speak Austrian. How 'bout another shrimp in the bar-b!!!!" They don't speak Austrian either since it is not a language, but you can speak it with the Obamanator who apparently learned it at Harvard. They don't do shrimp or BBQ; mostly schnitzle, hahnchen and rump steak. Try bier, they like that pretty good.

The flares are from an F150 Harley Davidson Edition. Have to heat them up to get them to fit after you find a doner in a ditch.

The defuser is a 55 gallon barrel cut in half and welded up.

ALL of you are faster than me, but I got better mirrors than you.

Mike
