Question 97 corolla starting problem

Dear,,
I have 97 corolla CE, My car was sitting in cold for 4 days out side in parking lot. I tried to start it and it did but it stayed for a min and then it got turned off.. I did not understand what happened. after that i tried to start it 4 to 5 times but it dont start... battery is fine because all the lights are working. I think its fuel system problem but i dont know how to approach it.. Help me.

Re: 97 corolla starting problem

I just changed an ignition switch for a 99 honda doing the same thing. tap on the steering column by the switch while trying to start. Have you changed the fuel filter? could be clogged.

i hope you get it worked out.
Blessings

Re: 97 corolla starting problem

I would check the ignition switch and or the fuel filter. you can tap on the steering column next to the ignition switch. If it sounds like she wants to start when you do, I would change it. I just replaced one in a 99 Honda doing something similar.
Good luck
Blessings
