Unhappy '97 sunfire please help me on this, I am a girl and know nothing about cars!!!!!!

Hi I have a 1997 Pontiac Sunfire (5 Speed Manual) and I think I am having some sort of fuel problem. When I try to drive it, it bogs down as if it is out of gas, but when you rev it up where the RPM'S are in the 3's or 4's it starts driving. Sometimes when it is idling it acts as if it is going to die, but once I rev it back up it starts driving. The check engine light it on and it also seems like it will run fine when it is cold? In the morning it will run for about 5-10 mins before it starts bogging down. But once it gets warm then it starts feeling like you are running out of gas, and I will have the gas pedal all the way to the floor and it won't go anywhere unless I press in the clutch and rev it up. I have had the fuel filter and fuel pump replaced and that has not solved the problem. Could it be the fuel injector? I don't want to spend more money on something that may not be the problem. My boyfriend hooked it up to the Diagnostic thing and it didn't show anything! So now I am clueless on what to do! someone please help!!!

as for no codes showing up ive had that happen before. just cuz there is no codes doesnt mean no problems.. you should try the throttle position sensor first cuz the symptoms match what happen to my 96. you could also have a bad idle air control sensor.. there easy to replace located right at the throttle body..

Also, you might want to check for a plugged catalytic converter or engine vacuum leak. About five years ago I had the same symptoms and found that my catalytic converter was clogged on my '95' sunfire engine.
