Wheel bearing hub part #
Hi everyone,
Just seeing if I can get some help locating a part number for the front wheel bearing hub assemblies for my 2001 Bravada. Thanks, Chris

Call your local parts store, they'll be able to give you the part number and the price! Don't use cheapie bearings, use BCA National or Timken.

What about NAPA auto parts? Are they considered cheap? My local NAPA store has the hub assemblies for $104... I'm not sure where I can get BCA National or Timken bearings and GM wants $202 for a genuine gm hub assembly. However, the last thing I want to do is be replacing these assemblies again in a couple of years...

Cheapies are around $100, BCA National and Timken are closer to $150. Most auto parts stores, including NAPA, carry an economy and a name brand assembly. Get the best one they have, the job is no fun the second time.

Thanks, I found some BCA's and Timken's online, BCA was $154 and found a Timken for $92,...good deal???

I use BCA and have never had a problem, haven't used Timken in quite a while. Years ago Timken used to be the best. Not sure if their quality has gone down, but for $92 I would imagine it has... almost sounds too good to be true. Most all of them have lifetime warranty which is nice, but I'd rather not have to use the warranty!
 FYI: I replaced the right side OEM bearing on my own vehicle with a BCA at 80,000 miles. The left side is original and has 180,000 and is still as quiet as a church mouse.
