belt

hey guys i have a big problem, my belt keeps breaking on me and dont know why i have enough slack, i checked to see if they pullys were out of alighnment, its not hiting anything and the pullys are clean ive been through three now and still cant figure out why any help would be great thanks oh and it starts to come apart from the outside in and three diferent belt brands

I haven't had that problem. Mine was squealing all the time finally solved it by getting a shorter one. Difficult to get on but no longer squeals. You might want to check yahoo groups (fiero). They know just about everything there is to know about Fieros. Also check Pennocks Fiero Forum. If I have a problem with my 86 SE v6 I usually get on Yahoo groups then try Pennocks. Wish you luck. lol finally figured it out shouldve seen it but the pully on my alt. was 3 rib istead of 4 fixed it with new pully, but in my defense a v6 in the back makes it hard to see anything
