Ferrari 312 T5 Monaco GP 1/43

Hi everyone

Another 1/43 Tameo build from me.

First some pics that you can see the real car:

Almost all parts out of the box.

Some very small parts:

First i started cleaning and sanding the cockpit.

Here a photo a few weeks later...

Later at building the model i have the idea to make a smal scene with the car,so i used some Denizen Figures.

For primer them i used basic car color white, the color is very thin and perfect to behold all fine structures of the figures.

Pre painted Engine,as you can see all holes are already drilled for additional parts.

All body parts are with decals and clear coated.

With this pic you can see arround how the finished model should look like.

Now after a few weeks it looks like this:

Here a pic where you can see how small everything is.

The other figure almost finished.

Not yet finished Tire, the valves become a little black paint at there end and also tire marks have to be done.

Thats the momentan situation.

To be continued....

Regards Roger

Great stuff, I've been wanting to build one of these for a few years now. Is this one of the WCT kits?

Keep at it.

Hi Lee

No this is not a WCT Model.
But also a super detailed kit.

Nice figures. The whole model looks great. The car was a dog, but also the last Ferrari Boxer.

Re: Ferrari 312 T5 Monaco GP 1/43

Really an excellent build off this Tameo kit. I've build the 312 T4 years ago, great kit. Also the figures are making a nice diorama. I don't know the reason why, but some sponsornames are a little displaced. Villeneuve wasn't sponsored by Brooklyns, Texaco or Parmalat, and why indeed the Texaco decals. Ferrari's used Agip in that time . All in all, it looks fantastic though. Keep it up.

Thats right, not all decals are correct.

The problem is where to get them,if there is a manufactor of it.
I used pictures like this,

to make the figures as realistic as possible.

Some decals i was able to cut out from reserved decals, and i also have a 1/43 set of them with many sponsors.

But not all the correct ones so i decide to replace them with others.

If someone knows a manufator of 1/43 racing figure decals,i would like to know it.

Re: Ferrari 312 T5 Monaco GP 1/43

I have work a little more on the kit....

At htem moment many wiring work to do...
The distributor wiring is done already and the fuel lines are prepared for there final position.

In the cockpit i also ad now the gearshifter. Now all bigger of the small parts.... are placed.

The next steps are fix the fuel lines, then place Battery, oil tank and starter and wire them, after this i will keep an eye for the brake clamps and the brake lines.

Next steps coming soon....
