Loud tapping from engine

Picking up a 1996 Achieva with a 2.4L Twin cam.
Got it for dirt cheap and hoping good results with the engine.

The engine Has a loud tapping when it's running.

It's an AVI xvid video. if you can see the video you'll still be able to hear it.
It sounds like a smaller Kobota tractor running.

I'm going to bring it into my garage and pull the cam covers to check it out.

Also wondering if anyone knows where I can get a master engine rebuild kit for this engine?
