Question Fans on in winter?

Hi, 97 T&C AWD W/ 3.8. The fans seem to run a LOT. They are not on all the time. I dont think the engine is getting very hot though. Is this normal? Is there anyway to adjust? Thanks.

Where is the Thermostat? I may replace it to see.

Thanks.

Re: Fans on in winter?

You know my 99 T&C seems to be doing the same thing even thought it is cold out.

Re: Fans on in winter?

The fans are controled by several different inputs...Engine Temp and AC Pressure.
engine temp and compressor/ac pressure if your running your defroster your AC is running and it may be a factor. Search for some old threads in this forum on the subject of fans
