1993 v6 engine removal

We have a 93 V6 Camaro that was overfilled with oil and now is smoking really bad,we are going to replace the motor with a used one, i have replaced a couple of motors in the past but mostly from older cars, i have heard that in some cars you have to drop the motor and lift the body, is this the case with this car or can i pull it up with a hoist?

thanks in advance.

you can pull the motor out with lift, and a v6 shouldnt be too bad. at least a lot easier then my 5.7 swap! good luck

I was told it comes out the top but I dont see how. I did a 94 V8 and dropped it out the bottom like a mini van.
