Timing
My brother in law bought a 92 Stealth 3000 SOHC and the timing belt was off. We brought no.1 cylinder to top of compression, we then checked the crankshaft sprocket to make sure the marks lined up. We then moved the camshaft sprockets inline with the marks. Then installed the belt. I assume this is correct after looking at the manual on cd. The engine is getting gas and spark. But it still won't start. Are we missing something on the timing?

You are postive its getting fuel?
The SOHC is pretty simple and basic. The other thing that may be a possibility is the distributor is 180* out.
