Computer Location 2007 Town Car

Trying to get the keyless code. Dealer asking $90 to plug reader into computer.
I've been told it's on the trunk hinge. NOT THERE
I've been told it's inside driver door panel. NOT THERE
I've been told it's a sticker on the computer, located "near the floor" on passenger side, behind the glove box. I DON'T SEE IT NEAR THE FLOOR.
Must I remove glove box to get to it because it's higher up behind the glove box?
Any more specific info would be appreciated.

Yes, it should be on the passenger side trunk hinge. Move the plastic covering to see it. Also it should be on the keyless module. Weather the 2007 has the module in the door or not I dont know.

Plastic cover removed. Still does not reveal entry code.
Computer sticker looks like best bet but how do I get to it?
Behind glove box but does glove box come out to access it?

I think there's a number pasted on the control module inside of the drivers door too!

Nope. Removed driver door panel a few weeks ago and it's not there.
Only hope is computer module but I don't see it unless it's hidden behind glove box.

Re: Computer Location 2007 Town Car

I Googled it and this is what I found.

Here is where I found the code in my 2005 Town Car. I assume 2007 is the same. I removed the driver's side door panel. Inside there's a black box with several harnesses , (towards the top, close to rear view mirror) . There's a label on the box showing the code. e.g in mine it showed 1/2 5/6 5/6 3/4 9/0 so my code is 15539 or you can use any combination you like using the same buttons.

Re: Computer Location 2007 Town Car

I found mine on a sticker on the passenger side trunk hinge (square tube).
This after our local dealer said they would find it for an hour's labor charge ($78.00).
What a rip off....
