Just got them today (Snow delayed delivery):

Here are the wheels (wide and wider):

Wow, good and clean casting is different to what I see on the photos.

Any idea, why 2 wheels have predrilled holes for the lug nuts and 2 don´t?

They all do. One pair is wider. I haven't had time to try the lug nuts as yet to see how they fit

Looking at these lug nuts I wonder, how many cars have lug nuts for a “inner hexagonal allen key” – I don´t know one single car ??

Included are hex special key lug nuts. I have seen some cars with them because of wheel design and not much area for the socket.
Here’s an example of the hex key lug nuts on a custom wheel for the F430:

Otherwise, it is only for a locking nut to prevent theft. I have not seen any Ferarri BBS wheel with hex special key nuts.

Right you are, interesting, but look on the photo of the box: the holes in the rims should be more narrow

Here’s a close up:

As you can see, supplied is a special hex key lug nut. But I have an option. I picked these up a few weeks ago.

These are more like the lugs I see on the wheels (close up below):

So, I would believe that waiting for the Scale Productions 599 monolithic wheels would be better for most of us. I actually got the lug nut sets more for diorama or correcting an issue. Never did I think I would do so as soon as now.

I added these to an order from MediaMix because shipping savings. I order from them only for items I can’t get here. Normally, I would go to Strada Sports for items like this.

Amongst other vendors, Kevin (Strada Sports) carries Hobby Design, Scale Productions and Tuner Model Manufactory. The items are not yet in his catalog, but are coming.

I intend to order Scale Productions 599 wheels also. I have several of their wheel sets and they are very nicely done.

Needs to be cleaned up between the spokes IMO. There is flash. Hobby Design wheels seem to be that way.
