Subs cutting in and out
I have two 12 inch Pioneer Champion Series PRO TS-W3002D2|D4 and it keeps cutting out. They are hooked up to a 2700 watt Pyramid amp and at 4 OHMS. I just put brand new wiring in it today and the amp is no more than 3 months old. I started my car and they went right on but after a couple minutes they just went out. Just curious if this is happening to anyone else or if there is a solution to this.

Re: Subs cutting in and out
I am not sure bcuz I dont have a capacitor on it. The battery is about a year old and the alternator is a year and a half old.

Re: Subs cutting in and out
you need a cheap voltmeter to check it out, walmart should have one for less than $10, if you are gonna do car stereo install stuff you will need one.
