how do i tell if my 92 has abs or not?

Sorry I'm usually pretty good with engines but everything else on a car is over my head. I need to order a new bracket for my brakes but don't no how to tell if my van has abs or not?

1) Go 30mph, and hit the brakes!
2) Look for ABS module under the hood.
3) There should be a fuse for the ABS module.
4) During the self test prior to start, there should be an ABS light indicator.

Caution - Make sure, that nobody is behind you.

You can call or go to any Toyota dealer and give them your VIN. They can tell you if ABS was installed as a factory option and can print out all the options your van came with from the factory.

Another way, though dirtier, is to turn the front wheels all the way to one side and peer behind them to look for a small wire going from the brake rotor backing plate, up the strut, and into the engine compartment. This is likely the ABS signal wire from the sensor to the controller.

simplest way is to pop the hood and look on the passenger side and see if there's a big pump with lines coming out of it,if it has abs it won't be hard to notice,if u don't have it the space will look pretty empty
