Re: 2.4L Dual ALT Setup

I am surprised that iac doesn't react to increase idle speed. Did lights work OK. with regular alt? What is pulling so much power tell us the complete story.

Did you try turning that screw?

Re: 2.4L Dual ALT Setup

i shut my headunit completly off theres nothin xtra running that would draw current besides regular stuff no wipers no heat no radio nothin, and as soon as i let off the gas my voltage meter drops to like 12.5 which is the float of my
spv70 if i turn my stereo on even with the volume down to 00 my voltage drops to 11.8 and my amp shuts off in low voltage protect. everything is fine when im on the highway i can blast the shit out of it with no dimming its just idle issues and no i didnt move the screw im not a mechanic i have no clue where to look 4 it i build stereo's thats bout it

ps ive been lookn 4 a diagram so i know where to find the throttle thing ur talkin bout then i could do it thats how i did my ALT...lol gotta love google
