cd player not working

The cd player in my '96 burb is rejecting the discs. The unit othwerwise works perfectly and is very, very clean. I tried a lens cleaner disc and apparently it wouldn't even spin it to do the "cleaning". Does anyone know why these players just stop working?? I have the same problem with my Delco/Bose Gold CD player in my '91 ZR-1, though it was replaced about 8 years ago and almost never used).

with these OEM radios you must replace with a new cd/mp3/usb input player ...these can be had for around 100.00...

repairing your OEM would cost far more and you have a very old outdated unit...on the plus side no ones gonna try to steal it !

search CRUTCHFIELD OUT FOR IDEAS ..I found then to be very helpful..
