Idle goes up Idle goes down
I've spent the last three years playing with my 94 wagon. I still have the stock 3.0 motor with many mods. Now I have two problems that I need to fix. One is the transmission seems to hold the car back shutters up steep hills and shifts late. My solution to this problem is to install a new transmission. The other problem is the idle goes up and down when I first crank it up. I have replace evey sensor on the intake even the distributor. I also took the upper intake manifold off, cleaned it, and installed a new gasket. I'm stuck as to what this problem is

Are you sure the shuttering up hills and late shifting is transmission and not a misfire/vacuum leak? If a vacuum leak it could also explain the fluctuating idle.
