Question CODE PO420 catalytic O2 sensor 1 in honda pilot

Hi I have a code PO420, in honda pilot 2007, according the scanner is catalytic efficiency bank 1 any ideas to fix this problem, I know is the O2 SENSOR but this car has many O2 sensors wich one is 1 and 2 sensor in the catalytic? thanks dornier34

Yes!
The Federal emissions warranty is 8-years/80k miles, you shouldn't have to pay anything for fix.

Sensor 1 is the upstream H02 sensor, it's befor the Catalytic converter. Sensor 2 is the down stream H02 sensor, it's after the Catalytic converter.

The P0420 code, it's the down stream H02 sensor(2) on bank 1, that detected a fault with your catalytic converter.

thank you very much for the tip ,I can see you know very good a bout honda pilot. I apreciate it your help. I am going take to the dealer for the warranty on it , my has 67 miles on now before expire this deal . take care dornier34
