i need help on my springs this is kindof a dumb question

i bought lowering springs for my 91 hb and i notice the springs were flat on one side and round on the other. i took the old springs out of my car and didnt pay attention to how they were, if some one can tell me which side goes on top i would appreciate it

flat to the top. there should be a place in the supports for the round end
