new tires

my 1999 tauras has factory 15inch mag weels the tires are 205/65 r15.i want to put 225/65 r15s on the same rims, there seems to be alot of room.will it work without rubbing?

Welcome to the forum!

Why not "plus size" the tire and go with a 225/55R15? This way your overall tire diameter would remain about the same so your speedometer should remain relatively close. I cannot guarantee that the tires wouldn't rub on sharp turns over bumps, but I think that tire width is pretty close to what the SHO had on it and it didn't rub.

i jus up sized from 205/65/15 to 215/65/15 on my 1999 tauris with no problems.i was going to try 235/60/15. the size diff is so small i bet they woud have fit.
