Arrow Toyota Supra FaF AMT/ERTL 1/25

Heya...
Another kit for fun.
I wanna build it as the box. Only with smaller wing.

So thanks for watching and enjoy :-)

Make sure you test fit alot in this build. Also i think the hood vents cut out and mesh inserted would give it a nice touch. I wish you luck on a not so great kit.

Re: Toyota Supra FaF AMT/ERTL 1/25

thanx MidMazar and good point.......the hoods vent have been already cut out.......

And I must admit that kit is awful........squared, wrong distance of holes, wrong size of some parts...... a LOT of work on it

small UP .......

◘chassis in black
◘upgraded hood
◘rounded front bumper
◘targa finally fits on the body

Re: Toyota Supra FaF AMT/ERTL 1/25

nice work fixing the bumper and the hood, I have the veilside version of the AMT kit, I have been puting off building it though as it doesn't seem that good. I guess I have just been spoiled by the quality of the Tamiya Supra kit.

Steve.

Re: Toyota Supra FaF AMT/ERTL 1/25

A little hint! Sand of the writing on the chassis panel. It's a small job, but a big improvement. The real car doesn't say Toyota Supra 1995 Copyright Universal Studios =)

Re: Toyota Supra FaF AMT/ERTL 1/25

Yeee....Im spoiled by tamiya too, but this is challenge for me :-D

Small UP:
■ wing was cut into 2 pieces (smaller=better)
■ small wings on the rear bumper were sanded and look thinner
■ chassis was colored
■ and I tried TS-12 on the targa.....looks awesome!

Re: Toyota Supra FaF AMT/ERTL 1/25

That's quite a Supra collection you have there. I've also build the F&F Supra a few years ago. My first polishing project. Not as shiny as yours, but still I'm pleased with it.
I love your work, so I hope that both your Supra's will turn up good!

Arno
