"Cliff" Calibra DTM

Hi guys!

Today I show you an older Kit from Tamiya. I build this 6-7 years ago, but I still like it.

Re: "Cliff" Calibra DTM

Excellent model - I have seen this car on the inside of some Tamiya boxes I have, but it seems a very rare find.

I really like the racetrack diorama too, did you build that? .... how did you get the road texture to look soo good?

Nice looking model for sure, excellent finish. The setting is amazing, very realistic racetrack.

Re: "Cliff" Calibra DTM

Hey, nice one!! I love the Calibra. I have the white one, done some years ago. But I'm going to rebuild it now, without decals... I notice that it have a pilot. It's from Tamiya??

Re: "Cliff" Calibra DTM

Thank you guys!

@ TurboGuru I paint the ground with simple wall paint in white and black and put sand into paint. As the paint was still wet I strew wood dust on the ground. Inportant is it to work all wet in wet. The curb is build by a patter with gypsum.

@ Vladamor This is the rallye driver set from Tamiya.

I hope I could help you, my english is not so good.

Greetings Sascha

Re: "Cliff" Calibra DTM

Looking great. I love the diorama also.

One thing , I think I can see some orange peel on the paint.
But overal, one good looking model.

Re: "Cliff" Calibra DTM

Fabulous.

Looks really great. I got this one in my stash (the other 2 in your small dio also).
I'd be glad if I got mine to look half as good as this one.

And Marco is right, this IS the only good-looking Opel.
