Mini Cooper Type R

been working on this one while I'm waiting on carbon decals and some wheels to get here for my supra build. I'm building it for my girlfriend, her favorite color is pink and of corse I can't leave anything alone so it has an engine from a revell integra type R. I couldn't find the valve cover so I made a simplified one. hope you guys like.

Steve

its a little pink powerhouse!
the valve cover has a cherry blossom tree painted on it and the header is made of solder, other that that its all stock.

Re: Mini Cooper Type R

I was allready wondering what you mented with the type-r...

But not anymore, would be nice to see a 1:1 car with this engine (and my wife with that color).
Looks cool though keep up the good job.

I actually saw one of these cars at the race track with a type r engine, thats what gave me the idea. I guess it is a fairly common swap to get some good power into the car. the car would blister the tires coming out of every corner.

Re: Mini Cooper Type R

That valve cover is by far my favourite part, but that doesn't mean the rest of the model isn't great. I like this one!

I too have seen a mini with a Honda B-series swap in real life, it's a pretty good idea.
