cds stuck in cd player

so my girlfriend had the 6 disc cd player in her VW replaced with another cd player, but unfortunately forgot to take out the cds that were in the old player. Now I cannot power it up to remove the cds. Any suggestions?

you will need to get a wiring diagram for the harness and connect up 12V and ground to the unit. That should let it turn on, remember you may need the security code to get it to do anything.

hey guys ...m,y skoda laura music system has a peculiar problem....it works fine in all aspects except that when i want to change a cd , after ejecting a particular cd, another new cd cannot be inserted...the music sytem seems to take it in and spit it out after a few seconds...the cds already inside are playing fine and so is the radio...pls advise

try resetting the CD player

Unless you or someone you know happens to be an electronics expert, I'd pay up. Tampering with the unit itself without knowing what you're doing could very well irreparably damage the player.

resetting the CD player is just pushing the reset button, nothing technical
