PCV Valve fit?

I cannot find the right PCV valve for a 2000 Venture...all of the PCV's have a straight tube....the Ventures have a 90 degree turn....where can you get the right valve...

Re: PCV Valve fit?

I would hope a Chevy dealer would have the right one.

Re: PCV Valve fit?

My '97 with the 2000 engine has a straight one in it and the rubber boot from the line is a 90* tho.

Re: PCV Valve fit?

Someone has replaced yours with the wrong one before. The correct pcv valve is a straight connection the 90 degree elbow is rubber and stays with the tube. Some of the hard plastic elbows can be pried off and re-used on a new pcv valve.

Re: PCV Valve fit?

As long as it fits does it make a difference? A pcv valve is a pcv valve, right?

Re: PCV Valve fit?

No, they are different in that the orifice is sized according to engine requirements.
