Fuse for Third Brake Light

Does anyone know where the fuse is for the third brake light? I'm assuming, for now, that a fuse is bad because both bulbs won't light.

TIA!

Re: Fuse for Third Brake Light

What year Regal is this?

For 1997 and up there is no fuse for the third brake light.

It's a 2002. I've looked and looked for the fuse. It's possible that both bulbs went out at the same time, but I assumed that a fuse would cause that problem. I couldn't get the socket out to test for voltage.

My next step will be to get the bulbs out and check them. Is there a LED equivalent to the 3155?

Very possible both lamps are burnt out. I've had the issue in our ''99 Regal LS.

Re: Fuse for Third Brake Light

How do I get the bulbs out? I tried twisting clockwise and counterclockwise, pushing up and pulling down. The amp blocks the drivers side bulb, but it will be easy to remove.

I don't want to break the housing. Is there a trick to this?

I accept with information: The amp blocks the drivers side bulb, but it will be easy to remove.
