Check the push rod lifter travel on all lobes to start with.
What makes you think it might be bad/going out?

Bad cam lobes leads to engine miss and lifter noise.
But cam lobes do not go bad very often anymore.

Describe your problems and give codes if any.
Any missing under load?
Any check or flashing check engine lights?
How many miles on it?
Have you done a good tune up?
Good AC Delco plugs?

Post back your fuel pressure readings.
