Re: 95 lhs the 1&4 does not fire

Granted you had the plugs and wires checked for defects, right? Have you considered using a timing light to check to see if there is current coming from the coil pack? Your neighborhood garage and parts store will have them and are very easy to use. If the coil pack is defective, you'll have to replace it (+/- $50). It can be done by yourself.

I noticed that it is a LOT easier to replace the coil pack when you remove the air box and first section of air hose from the car. Everything will be at at easy reach from there. If your not too sure what wires go to where (like me), I used a small piece of masking tape and wrote down each wire number and "flagged" each plug wire appropriately. So, when the new coil pack was replaced, all I did was match the flagged wire to the corresponding coil pack plug.

This can be done in less than an hour from start to finish.

I'm not a pro, but anyone can feel free to add or amend this information for the sake of accuracy.

Good luck!
