Hookin up Interior Neons to Amplifier

Hey everybody. I have a question about interior neon lighting. What I want to do is hook up neon lights that will pulse to the sound of my bass. I have an aftermarket head unit and aftermarket speakers as well a a sub. These are hooked up through an aftermarket amplifier. Can i just hook up the positive and negative wires from the neon to the positive and negative terminals to the amp? The amp itself is already on remote turn on and doesnt turn on until my radio is on. If I do this will my neons pulse everytime the amp gives power to my sub? And will they turn off along with the amp since it is not on? Thanks for all the help.
