Programming Key for 325i
I just got a key for BMW off of eBay because I only have one key for my 2005 325i. I was reading on a forum that you can program the keys so I said why not. Well I got the key and programmed it and everything works fine. Only problem is that it is only programmed to lock and unlock the doors. I'm assuming this is for safety reasons and so that people can't just program keys to steal vehicles.
My question though is, is there a way to program the key to start the ignition? Thanks!

I just got my rear view mirror replaced and now the key doesn't work for the alarm and unlocking the doors. Can you please send me the directions to do this
