auto gauge cluster on a manual
I wanted to swap out my OEM gauge cluster (dx) for the ex cluster with the tach. the one I'm looking at was for an automatic but my car is standard.
Would this little difference have any effect on the gauges? I mean the plugs are the same right? I'm assuming it would work, except the lights for the gear indicator wouldn't come on. Anyone with any advice or experience with this would be appreciated. Thanks.

yup, i just swapped an si(ex) cluster into my 4door lx, just plug and play, yeha the only difference for you would be the indicators, but everything else will work just fine.

Yeah you can. It's all plug and play. My g/f put an Si guage cluster in her dx hatch.

I wish I could install a cluster with nice guages... with temp, batt current, oil pressure and gas... no possible way to convert another cars cluster is there? would it take major wiring?
