funny 4x4

ok so i usually engage and disengage 4x4 on my 3 button 02 4dr blazer to keep everything moving so nothing sticks again i had a lot of 4x4 parts replaced one of witch was the part on the t-case that has the ball valve (forget the exact name) the valve was stuck half way and i was getting afalse engagment at high speeds so itwas replaced and all was good i just did this a week ago i havent needed to use the 4wd that much this year so i just kept engaing and disengaging to keep all the moving parts freed up well i needed it today and all i got wasa blinking 4x4 light in 4 hi and 4 lo in park, nuetral, stopped, moving no matter what i tried it wouldnt go out of 2 hi well i took the battery tray out to see if the rubber boot for the hub lock cable was damaged i heard it was the first place to look all was good in there so i put it back together and hooked the battery back up and tried the button again to see if there was any sound from the box behind the passenger sidde kick panel. all of a sudden poof my 4x4 works again im guessing something stuck and toldthe computer it wasnt working and just needed to be reset all i did really was disconnect the battery for about 5 mins and hooked it back up and its been working fine is this just a computer glitch or should i plan on this happening again?

It is possbile the computer, the TCCM (Transfer Case Control Module), located behind the passenger kick panel just did get stuck(frozen). It does happen, and usually disconnecting the battery for a few minutes and reconnecting does work. At this point, I wouldn't worry about it too much.
