Low engine temp

Hi,
Have a blazer -95 vin W 4.3L 4wd 4dr.

I have noticed that the temp only rise to about 70*C, used to go to ca 95*C I think.
Have changed the t-stat with no result.
Have tested that tempgauge shows about correct, and it does...

Any ideas?

Check gauge tempt with a digital infrared thermometer.
Also I would try anothe major brand stat.
