Uh, it covers the WJ model which is the Grand Cherokee from 1999-2004.

2003 JGC keeps stalling when put in reverse, and stutters when going up a hill. Also if on highway, and let off gas, it will stutter.

what did you end up finding on this?

I have been having the same trouble with my 2004 JGC. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to start to try to fix this. It's a real pain. I have already put a new park/neutral switch on it. Also for another problem, a new crankshaft position sensor.

Thanks alot for the information on the Jeep manual. I have downloaded it and hope it will help me find out what is causing my Jeep to go dead in reverse.

Try to clean the throttle body first , also make sure the TPS is working properly comun problem with the Jeeps .good luck DORNIER34.

Also check the temperature sensor is working properly I think this is the problem in your jeep let me know Byron .
