Advice from pros
i just finish the mercedes benz clk dtm
I clear coat the body after I apply the decals Now the question is what is the best way to get rid of the orange peel. Wet sand it lightly then compund it or just compund it lightly until smooth

Try the compound first, then try the sanding IF the compound doesn't work out for you. :bandit:

Tonio has a good plan, but hopefully you have at least three good coats of clear on those decals to prevent burning through.
