Unhappy fuel leaking...alot

2001 chevy sub, did crank but not start. Leaks when attempting to start under drivers side door region, I mean it gushes out, any guesses?

the fuel filter is mounted there...most likely it just needs tightening..if the fuel leaks out you may not have enough preesure to start engine..

replacing the fuel filter is best every 30,ooomi...

Yeah, should be a pretty easy fix as I had to do this when I got a new fuel pump for my Tahoe.
