day time running light problem on a 02 z24

Hey i Have a 2002 z24 with a day time running light problem i have changed the bulbs 4 times the relay on the dash the relay in the front 3 different multi function switches took all the tape off the front and checked all the wires checked the switch the grounds, the lights flash 10 times and when it first started happening i could bang my dash and it would stop, i and everyone else i have asked are completely puzzled about this i want help bad. i also checked the main conecter by the battery i wanna fix this to safety and sell the car any help would be appretiated thanks

It could be a bad BCM, I believe the DRLs are controlled by the BCM on that year, it's located under the dash, so that would explain why hitting the dash "fixes" it.
