3.0 ls v6 pvc valve

I wanted to say sorry to all who i judged new at the sight but i wanted to know if anyone here could break it down how to put the new one on and the boot i cant find anything about it online like pics or anything... i cant do it tell wednesday but the boot will be here wed.. so if we or anyone could break it down or show pics how to do this i would love you long time lol.. please and thanx u.. and to let everyone know i did get a test done i broke down and got it thats why i know its the boot and valve..

When you get down to the PCV elbow, if I were you I'd closely inspect it and if it feels soft or has obvious cracks, I'd try replacing just the elbow before going the next step and replacing the PCV valve itself. You can get to the elbow just by removing the upper intake manifold. To get the PCV valve you also need to remove the lower intake manifold. I have yet to read or hear of anyone that actually needed to replace the PCV valve.

Actually, as I look at the photos again, it appears that you'll need to remove the lower intake manifold just to get to the elbow. The service manual suggests that you can get to the PCV valve with just the lower intake manifold removed. I gave up and came to the conclusion that at least one head would need to be removed as well. Maybe I didn't fight it long enough....
